Been going here for 20+ years now. Always clean, always great quality and always nice and hot! Coffee is sublime nowadays as well, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Definitely beats the one of thousands of Gregg's next door to it and Costa across the road. Halstead Cafe all the way.

First time visit, would definitely come again. Food outstanding. Also will be recommending it to people. Great value for money.

We always enjoy this style of cafe for breakfast. Before arriving in Halstead we knew this was the cafe we wanted to go The menu has a selection of set breakfasts providing alternative items, also loads to chose from for lunches. On arrival sat down and had our drink order taken at the table by a friendly member of staff, food order take when given drinks. Excellent service, great atmosphere as it filled up during our stay. Would highly recommend if this is your type of cafe!!

Absolutely hammered this, really enjoyed this and really well priced. Compared to Costa across the road where you'll get ONLY a hot chocolate for the same price I paid for this breakfast sandwich AND tea! The only crossed the road today because my laptop went flat and they don't have power points in the wall.

Had a hearty fry up big breakfast, was yum although my thoughts they could upgrade the sausages as they taste the cheapest other than that, worth a visit.
